The personal blog of Brian D. Hawkins has been closed and replaced with a micro blog experiment on That’sRightISaidIt.com. I have over extended myself with too many sites and projects so this will allow me to still enjoy expressing myself without the full blog demands. I can shoot out a few lines in minutes and move on.
I have decided to leave the old post archives up for a while for those kind enough to comment on and link to my site. Do-Follow is still active as well as Comment Luv so everyone’s link backs are still active.
I want to thank everyone for supporting my personal blog and perhaps I’ll find the time to revive it in the future.

I post about everything from Religion and Politics to corporate news and fun stuff.
Caution… I feel bad for this but it is inevitable that many of you will fall madly in love with me as you get to know more and more about me. At the risk of breaking thousands of hearts I must declare my undying love for my wife of 26 years and counting. Please don’t feel bad for your deep feeling for me and understand it’s completely normal and you are not alone. Be proud and say it load, “I love Brian D. Hawkins“!
I’m a 44 year old opinionated and sometimes arrogant man in Michigan. I’m married with four children, all grown, and four Grandsons. I’m a United States Army Veteran and proud of it. I was an over the road truck driver for eleven years and have been in every state and Canadian province more times than I can count.
I am open minded and have no time for prejudice and racism and I’m one of those that actually mean it in private – not just say it in public. I don’t care at all for crowds yet can be at ease when forced into it (usually by my wife but who’s pointing fingers) and handle myself like I was the host. I’m one of the biggest animal lovers you will ever know. I’d rather be a room full of dogs than a restaurant full of people. I usually say what’s on my mind even though it may offend others. Music
I love all types of music. I like a lot of what you would expect for a 44 year old white middle class guy but I like other stuff that offends uptight hypocrites – and that pleases me 
Everything from Eric Clapton to Paolo Nutini. From BB King to Rod Stewart. Norah Jones to Kid Rock. Bob Seger to Billy Joel. Janis Joplin to Peter Frampton. John Prine to John Mayer. The Gourds to Snoop Dogg.
Blogging and Photography
I’ve always had a hobby. I was into classic cars, a woodworker, and many other hobbies to tie up my time and money. Now I have two hobbies, blogging and amateur photography. Check out my Flickr profile and add yourself as a contact and friend. I consider blogging a hobby because that’s not where I make most of my online money from. I have many blogging friends and unlike my real life friends, I enjoy socializing with them.
I own and run many sites including The Extreme Ezine, Hot Blog Tips and Your Ad Tracker. I have over a hundred registered domains and many niche sites.
